사나 죽으나(8.26토)

사도행전 14 장19절

유대인들이 안디옥과 이고니온에서 와서 무리를 충동하니 그들이 돌로 바울을 쳐서 죽은 줄로 알고 시외로 끌어 내치니라

And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium who persuaded the people and having stoned Paul drew him out of the city supposing he had been dead.

 

사도행전 14 장20절

제자들이 둘러섰을 때에 바울이 일어나 그 성에 들어갔다가 이튿날 바나바와 함께 더베로 가서

Howbeit as the disciples stood round about him he rose up and came into the city： and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

 

사도행전 14 장21절

복음을 그 성에서 전하여 많은 사람을 제자로 삼고 루스드라와 이고니온과 안디옥으로 돌아가서

And when they had preached the gospel to that city and had taught many they returned again to Lystra and to Iconium and Antioch

 

사도행전 14 장22절

제자들의 마음을 굳게 하여 이 믿음에 머물러 있으라 권하고 또 우리가 하나님의 나라에 들어가려면 많은 환난을 겪어야 할 것이라 하고

Confirming the souls of the disciples and exhorting them to continue in the faith and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

 

사도행전 14 장23절

각 교회에서 장로들을 택하여 금식 기도 하며 그들이 믿는 주께 그들을 위탁하고

And when they had ordained them elders in every church and had prayed with fasting they commended them to the Lord on whom they believed.

 

사도행전 14 장24절

비시디아 가운데로 지나서 밤빌리아에 이르러

And after they had passed throughout Pisidia they came to Pamphylia.

 

사도행전 14 장25절

말씀을 버가에서 전하고 앗달리아로 내려가서

And when they had preached the word in Perga they went down into Attalia：

 

사도행전 14 장26절

거기서 배 타고 안디옥에 이르니 이 곳은 두 사도가 이룬 그 일을 위하여 전에 하나님의 은혜에 부탁하던 곳이라

And thence sailed to Antioch from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.

 

사도행전 14 장27절

그들이 이르러 교회를 모아 하나님이 함께 행하신 모든 일과 이방인들에게 믿음의 문을 여신 것을 보고하고

And when they were come and had gathered the church together they rehearsed all that God had done with them and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

 

사도행전 14 장28절

제자들과 함께 오래 있으니라

And there they abode long time with the disciples.

 

(돌에 맞아)

돌에 맞아 다른 이들이 죽은 줄 알 정도이면 거의 죽은 것이나 진배없는 상태일 것이다

이 일은 바울입장에서는 어떠할 지 모르겠지만 주님입장에선 죽은 이를 살린 나사로의 역사와 같은 일이시였다는 마음이다

둘에 맞아 죽었다 살아난 사건으로 나에겐 다가온다

아나 적어도 바울을 돌로친 유대인들에게는 죽었던 바울이다

"죽으나 사나 주를 위해" 라는 바울의 고백이 죽어본 자의 생생한 삶의 고백인것이다

사실 믿는 이들 중 많은 이들이 죽었다 살아났을 것이다 본인들이 알지 못한다 할지라도 말이다

그러니 당연히 사나 죽으나 주를 위해 라는 고백의 삶이 우리에게 있어야 하리라
