하나님의 손은 강하시다(9.26목)

[수4:19-24]
19 첫째 달 십일에 백성이 요단에서 올라와 여리고 동쪽 경계 길갈에 진 치매
20 여호수아가 요단에서 가져온 그 열두 돌을 길갈에 세우고
21 이스라엘 자손들에게 말하여 이르되 후일에 너희의 자손들이 그들의 아버지에게 묻기를 이 돌들은 무슨 뜻이니이까 하거든
22 너희는 너희의 자손들에게 알게 하여 이르기를 이스라엘이 마른 땅을 밟고 이 요단을 건넜음이라
23 너희의 하나님 야훼께서 요단 물을 너희 앞에서 마르게 하사 너희를 건너게 하신 것이 너희의 하나님 야훼께서 우리 앞에 홍해를 말리시고 우리를 건너게 하심과 같았나니
24 이는 땅의 모든 백성에게 야훼의 손이 강하신 것을 알게 하며 너희가 너희의 하나님 야훼를 항상 경외하게 하려 하심이라 하라

[Jos 4:19-24, KJV]
19 And the people came up out of Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and encamped in Gilgal, in the east border of Jericho.
20 And those twelve stones, which they took out of Jordan, did Joshua pitch in Gilgal.
21 And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?
22 Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land.
23 For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over:
24 That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever.

하나님의 손은 강하시다
요단의 마른땅을 밝고 건너게 하셨다
할렐루야
이스라엘의 역사를 보고 우리는
하나님을 경외하게 된다
놀라우신 하나님이시다
나라와 민족뿐만이 아니라 한 사람의 개인에게도 똑같이 역사하신다
강한 손을 들어서 역사하신다
어찌 두려워 하지 않을 것인가?
욕심이 이 기억을 가리고 하나님의 강하신 손을 잊게 만든다
하나님의 손을 기억하라
강하신 손을...
