[수21:43-45]
43 야훼께서 이스라엘의 조상들에게 맹세하사 주리라 하신 온 땅을 이와 같이 이스라엘에게 다 주셨으므로 그들이 그것을 차지하여 거기에 거주하였으니
44 야훼께서 그들의 주위에 안식을 주셨으되 그 조상들에게 맹세하신 대로 하셨으므로 그들의 모든 원수들 중에 그들과 맞선 자가 하나도 없었으니 이는 야훼께서 그들의 모든 원수들을 그들의 손에 넘겨 주셨음이니라
45 야훼께서 이스라엘 족속에게 말씀하신 선한 말씀이 하나도 남음이 없이 다 응하였더라

43 And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
44 And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45 There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
[수24:13] 내가 또 너희가 수고하지 아니한 땅과 너희가 건설하지 아니한 성읍들을 너희에게 주었더니 너희가 그 가운데에 거주하며 너희는 또 너희가 심지 아니한 포도원과 감람원의 열매를 먹는다 하셨느니라
[Joshua 24:13, KJV] And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.
[수24:14-18]
14 그러므로 이제는 야훼를 경외하며 온전함과 진실함으로 그를 섬기라 너희의 조상들이 강 저쪽과 애굽에서 섬기던 신들을 치워 버리고 야훼만 섬기라
15 만일 야훼를 섬기는 것이 너희에게 좋지 않게 보이거든 너희 조상들이 강 저쪽에서 섬기던 신들이든지 또는 너희가 거주하는 땅에 있는 아모리 족속의 신들이든지 너희가 섬길 자를 오늘 택하라 오직 나와 내 집은 야훼를 섬기겠노라 하니
16 백성이 대답하여 이르되 우리가 결단코 야훼를 버리고 다른 신들을 섬기기를 하지 아니하오리니
17 이는 우리 하나님 야훼께서 친히 우리와 우리 조상들을 인도하여 애굽 땅 종 되었던 집에서 올라오게 하시고 우리 목전에서 그 큰 이적들을 행하시고 우리가 행한 모든 길과 우리가 지나온 모든 백성들 중에서 우리를 보호하셨음이며
18 야훼께서 또 모든 백성들과 이 땅에 거주하던 아모리 족속을 우리 앞에서 쫓아내셨음이라 그러므로 우리도 야훼를 섬기리니 그는 우리 하나님이심이니이다 하니라
[Joshua 24:14-18, KJV]
14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;
17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:
18 And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God.
모든 말씀을 언약을 약속을 이루시는 신실하신 야훼하나님이시다
이 하나님을 두고 어찌 다른 신을 섬기려하는가!
나와 나의 집은 오직 야훼하나님만을 섬기길 이 아침 다시 결단한다

아버지 하나님 저와 제 집은 오직 하나님만을 섬기겠습니다
제가 죄를 죄로 보고 회개할 수 있도록 제 눈을 밝히시옵소서
성경말씀을 보고 아버지성품을 아는 지혜가 있게 하사 저로 아버지하나님을 주님을 더 알게하소서
제가 수고하지도 않은 성읍을 땅을 저에게 주실 때
은혜인 줄 아는 순수함이 저에게 있기를 소망합니다
