예레미야 10 장1절
이스라엘 집이여 여호와께서 너희에게 이르시는 말씀을 들을지어다
Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you O house of Israel：
예레미야 10 장2절
여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 여러 나라의 길을 배우지 말라 이방 사람들은 하늘의 징조를 두려워하거니와 너희는 그것을 두려워하지 말라
Thus saith the LORD Learn not the way of the heathen and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
예레미야 10 장3절
여러 나라의 풍습은 헛된 것이니 삼림에서 벤 나무요 기술공의 두 손이 도끼로 만든 것이라
For the customs of the people are vain： for one cutteth a tree out of the forest the work of the hands of the workman with the axe.
예레미야 10 장4절
그들이 은과 금으로 그것에 꾸미고 못과 장도리로 그것을 든든히 하여 흔들리지 않게 하나니
They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers that it move not.
예레미야 10 장5절
그것이 둥근 기둥 같아서 말도 못하며 걸어다니지도 못하므로 사람이 메어야 하느니라 그것이 그들에게 화를 주거나 복을 주지 못하나니 너희는 두려워하지 말라 하셨느니라
They are upright as the palm tree but speak not： they must needs be borne because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil neither also is it in them to do good.
예레미야 10 장6절
여호와여 주와 같은 이 없나이다 주는 크시니 주의 이름이 그 권능으로 말미암아 크시니이다
Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee O LORD; thou art great and thy name is great in might.
예레미야 10 장7절
이방 사람들의 왕이시여 주를 경외하지 아니할 자가 누구리이까 이는 주께 당연한 일이라 여러 나라와 여러 왕국들의 지혜로운 자들 가운데 주와 같은 이가 없음이니이다
Who would not fear thee O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain： forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms there is none like unto thee.
예레미야 10 장8절
그들은 다 무지하고 어리석은 것이니 우상의 가르침은 나무뿐이라
But they are altogether brutish and foolish： the stock is a doctrine of vanities.
예레미야 10 장9절
다시스에서 가져온 은박과 우바스에서 가져온 금으로 꾸미되 기술공과 은장색의 손으로 만들었고 청색 자색 옷을 입었나니 이는 정교한 솜씨로 만든 것이거니와
Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish and gold from Uphaz the work of the workman and of the hands of the founder： blue and purple is their clothing： they are all the work of cunning men.
예레미야 10 장10절
오직 여호와는 참 하나님이시요 살아 계신 하나님이시요 영원한 왕이시라 그 진노하심에 땅이 진동하며 그 분노하심을 이방이 능히 당하지 못하느니라
But the LORD is the true God he is the living God and an everlasting king： at his wrath the earth shall tremble and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
예레미야 10 장11절
너희는 이같이 그들에게 이르기를 천지를 짓지 아니한 신들은 땅 위에서 이 하늘 아래에서 망하리라 하라
Thus shall ye say unto them The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth even they shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens.
예레미야 10 장12절
여호와께서 그의 권능으로 땅을 지으셨고 그의 지혜로 세계를 세우셨고 그의 명철로 하늘을 펴셨으며
He hath made the earth by his power he hath established the world by his wisdom and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
예레미야 10 장13절
그가 목소리를 내신즉 하늘에 많은 물이 생기나니 그는 땅 끝에서 구름이 오르게 하시며 비를 위하여 번개치게 하시며 그 곳간에서 바람을 내시거늘
When he uttereth his voice there is a multitude of waters in the heavens and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
예레미야 10 장14절
사람마다 어리석고 무식하도다 은장이마다 자기의 조각한 신상으로 말미암아 수치를 당하나니 이는 그가 부어 만든 우상은 거짓 것이요 그 속에 생기가 없음이라
Every man is brutish in his knowledge： every founder is confounded by the graven image： for his molten image is falsehood and there is no breath in them.
예레미야 10 장15절
그것들은 헛 것이요 망령되이 만든 것인즉 징벌하실 때에 멸망할 것이나
They are vanity and the work of errors： in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
예레미야 10 장16절
야곱의 분깃은 이같지 아니하시니 그는 만물의 조성자요 이스라엘은 그의 기업의 지파라 그 이름은 만군의 여호와시니라
The portion of Jacob is not like them： for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance： The LORD of hosts is his name.
예레미야 10 장17절
에워싸인 가운데에 앉은 자여 네 짐 꾸러미를 이 땅에서 꾸리라
Gather up thy wares out of the land O inhabitant of the fortress.
예레미야 10 장18절
여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 보라 내가 이 땅에 사는 자를 이번에는 내던질 것이라 그들을 괴롭게 하여 깨닫게 하리라 하셨느니라
For thus saith the LORD Behold I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once and will distress them that they may find it so.
예레미야 10 장19절
슬프다 내 상처여 내가 중상을 당하였도다 그러나 내가 말하노라 이는 참으로 고난이라 내가 참아야 하리로다
Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous; but I said Truly this is a grief and I must bear it.
예레미야 10 장20절
내 장막이 무너지고 나의 모든 줄이 끊어졌으며 내 자녀가 나를 떠나가고 있지 아니하니 내 장막을 세울 자와 내 휘장을 칠 자가 다시 없도다
My tabernacle is spoiled and all my cords are broken： my children are gone forth of me and they are not： there is none to stretch forth my tent any more and to set up my curtains.
예레미야 10 장21절
목자들은 어리석어 여호와를 찾지 아니하므로 형통하지 못하며 그 모든 양 떼는 흩어졌도다
For the pastors are become brutish and have not sought the LORD： therefore they shall not prosper and all their flocks shall be scattered.
예레미야 10 장22절
들을지어다 북방에서부터 크게 떠드는 소리가 들리니 유다 성읍들을 황폐하게 하여 승냥이의 거처가 되게 하리로다
Behold the noise of the bruit is come and a great commotion out of the north country to make the cities of Judah desolate and a den of dragons.
예레미야 10 장23절
여호와여 내가 알거니와 사람의 길이 자신에게 있지 아니하니 걸음을 지도함이 걷는 자에게 있지 아니하니이다
O LORD I know that the way of man is not in himself： it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
예레미야 10 장24절
여호와여 나를 징계하옵시되 너그러이 하시고 진노로 하지 마옵소서 주께서 내가 없어지게 하실까 두려워하나이다
O LORD correct me but with judgment; not in thine anger lest thou bring me to nothing.
예레미야 10 장25절
주를 알지 못하는 이방 사람들과 주의 이름으로 기도하지 아니하는 족속들에게 주의 분노를 부으소서 그들은 야곱을 씹어 삼켜 멸하고 그의 거처를 황폐하게 하였나이다 하니라
Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not and upon the families that call not on thy name： for they have eaten up Jacob and devoured him and consumed him and have made his habitation desolate.
(아픔)
하나님은 우리보다 우리를 더 아파하신다
상처! 중상!
나무와 은과 금으로 만든 것들과 비교되는 것에서 아파하시는 것이 아니다
사람들이 어리석음에서 돌이키기위해 내던져야 하는 것에 마음이 아프신것이다
내가 이 땅에서 다른 주인을 섬기면 하나님은 아파하신다
분명 그것이 나의 중상임에도 당신이 중상을 입으셨다고 말씀하시며 고통스러워하신다
그래서 예레미야는 눈물의 선지자가 될 수 밖에 없었나보다
주님의 아픈 마음을 아니 눈물이 멈추질 않았으리라
나 또한 주님의 기쁨에 눈물이 흐르고
주님의 아픔에 눈물이 흐른다
주님 제가 주님마음을 아는 자로 계속 눈물이 마르지 않는 자로 살다가 이땅의 삶 떠나게 하소서
